However, British citizenship is the most common among them. Usually, original British citizens hold this status. However, outsiders can also get brutish citizenship through some process. The first step to getting British citizenship is to fill out the British citizenship Application. Usually, original British citizens have this status due to their connections with the Isle of Man, Channel Island, and the United Kingdom who had the right to abode according to 1971\u2019s immigration act. Nowadays anyone can get British citizenship but there are some requirements to fill out the British<b>\u00a0<\/b>citizenship application. For filling out the\u00a0<strong>British citizenship application<\/strong>\u00a0one must be over 18 years of age. He or she must spend 5 years in the UK with less than 5 years outside and have held\u00a0<span style=\"color: #3366ff;\">Indefinite Leave to Remain<\/span>\u00a0(ILR) within the UK for around 12 months. Apart from this one needs to qualify for the \u201cLife in the UK test\u201d, must not breach immigration rules of the UK, and needs to have a good character.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-504943d elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"504943d\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>There are many different ways to become a British citizen, such as a British citizen by Descent or by Birth, a 5-year route, a British citizen by marriage, nationality for people who have renounced it, and citizenship for stateless individuals. However, all of these do not apply to everyone. The most common and easy way to get British citizenship is through the process of naturalization. For this, you first need to fill out the British Naturalization application. \u00a0Through the process of naturalization, anyone who was not born in the UK can apply for citizenship there. But to fill out the British naturalization application some requirements must be fulfilled. The candidate\u2019s age must be above 18 years without any prior records.
