The mediator does not take sides and their role is to help disgruntled parties settle the dispute without going to court. The convention provides a mechanism for parties in a mediation agreement to enforce it in the courts of any country that is a member of the convention.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-b60adc4 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"b60adc4\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>This landmark convention formalised the enforceability of mediation agreements, as a result it will make mediation as a form of cross-border commercial dispute resolution more attractive.
